We took everything we learned from the Barrett Memorial Library project and used it to create the Burlington Public Library's new web site. It is built in straight HTML & CSS code, with just a touch of javascript to make the fancy tabs. There is no content management system built into this web site.
The Burlington Library was fortunate enough to have a staff member on site who was able to work in HTML. We updated their software from Frontpage to Expression Web and they were on their way. One of the challenges of creating this site, as with the Barrett Memorial site, was to make it look and work the same in Internet Explorer 6 as it did in the newer browsers.
