This site was made to replace an aging custom cart that was developed years ago and was beginning to run into issues due to not being updated. A leader in gas station wholesale and distribution, CB needed a new face to match their growing brand. The site boasts a featured product stream that can be placed dynamically on the site. With over 1600 products CB needed a very stable platform that would allow their graphic design and technical staff to update the website without having to change code. We chose to utilize Adobe Business Catalyst for it's enterprise level functionality with a small business price tag.
The site completely streamlines a process that used to require the customer to place an order on the site, and then follow up with a phone call to give payment information. This time consuming process was costing the company a lot of man hours, and was also putting additional burden on the customer. The new site allows their wholesale customers to complete the entire purchasing process in one simple step. With the sales people taking less phone calls for payment information, it allowed them to focus more on creating sales, which should directly drive revenue.
We also set the site up to allow them to tier their pricing to multiple vendors and wholesalers, depending on their specified contract. When the customer logged in they were automatically shown their custom pricing on all inventory.
